Vita-move, somatic workshop (pre-dance therapy)
“Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” Carl Gustav Jung
Do you feel the need to enjoy life and/or let your emotions express themselves through natural movement but you don't know how?
This somatic workshop mindful movement and dance is designed for you.
It is aimed at exploring your body while enjoying the pleasure of dancing with simple and natural movements.
Dance Movement is inborn in all of us, but it has been poorly conditioned by modern society.
This creates a need to rediscover our ability to listen to our body, to dare to express our emotions and our feelings through movement. Through movement, we awaken our senses; improve our internal balance and our overall sense of well-being.
This workshop may surprise you for how fun, simple and easy dancing can be !
Come join us and experience this insight journey!

Vitamove is a body awareness approach not a dance movement therapy
Although Vita-move and dance movement therapy may have some similarities, the objective of this approach is prevention bot therapy. The idea is to take care of you mind body so you stay healthy and do not reach that point you need to see a therapist.
Approach and Objectives:
We will enrich both the internal and external self with movements by completing a series of exercises and natural movements that call on to our physical and emotional skills and stimulate our imagination as well. This somatic workshop aims at :
· Developing awareness of somatic experience - kinesthetic, sensory, feeling, imaginative explorations
· Getting out of your headspace and connect instead with what you feel and with you "inborn" physical knowledge to find intuitive solutions for life issues
· Learning how to address emotional challenges and promote self-awareness.
· Developing an expressive language through movement
· Discovering embodied and imaginative ways of being in relationship
This is a technique free workshop. It will help you rediscover your body and express your feeling and emotions in simple and natural ways (no dance technique will be taught).
